Public Works Department

The Public Works Department provides a broad spectrum of services to our community, focused primarily on the maintenance, repair, and construction of Town infrastructure.

Our operations span 36 square miles and encompass 97 miles of roadway.

The following is a brief overview of our primary responsibilities:

•Street/highway maintenance and construction

•Maintenance and repair of Town owned vehicles and equipment

•Street signs and line striping

•Select open space and roadside mowing and maintenance

•Street sweeping

•Snow/ice removal of public roads

•Miscellaneous support services to other Town agencies
