Pomperaug Valley Garden Club Plant Sale RETURNS on May 22!

 

The Pomperaug Valley Garden Club will host its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 21 st, from 9 am to 1 pm (rain or shine) at the Hollow Park Pavilion on Hollow Road in Woodbury. The sale will once again feature our popular member-grown perennials, herbs, groundcovers, ferns and small shrubs.

We will have a wide selection of pollinator-friendly perennials as well as native plants, including wildflowers. Our Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer all your gardening questions.

Check out our website at pomperaugvalleygc.org any time after May 15 for a list of plants we anticipate having available on the day of the sale. (Because these plants are coming from our members’ gardens, some will be in limited supply so come early for the best selection!)

We will be following all recommended COVID-related safety protocols, including social distancing and masks as necessary.

Due to the potential presence of invasive “Jumping Worms” in soil in our area, and to protect our customers, we will be following recommendations from researchers to help control the spread of these worms. We have removed and rinsed ALL soil from plants, then either repotted in sterile commercial soil or selling plants “bare-root”.
