The Woman’s Club of Woodbury joins forces with Charcoal Chef for an all-day, dining fundraiser on Monday April 8th, 2024. Enjoy Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner at the Charcoal Chef, 670 North Main Street, Woodbury and the Woman’s Club will receive a 10% donation! Raffle tickets will be available to purchase throughout the day for a choice of three, generously donated gift baskets. Charcoal Chef will be open from 8am – 8pm on Monday the 8th, winners need not be present to claim their prize.

 Charcoal Chef’s owner Judy Doran, a long-time, generous supporter for worthy local non-profits, has offered a generous 10% of all dining sales to be donated to WCW fundraising initiative on the day of the event.  Chances on three exciting Gift Baskets will also be available for purchase, with options to place your purchased raffle tickets in any one, or each, of the three offered prizes.

 The three raffle prizes have been donated by the Waterbury Symphony, Kim Burns Salon and by WCW Secretary and long-time member, Phyllis Story. 

 THE WATERBURY SYMPHONY BASKET, valued at $300, generously offers a bottle of wine and two ticket vouchers each for its three upcoming concerts.  The first, Sunday April 21st at 4 p.m. is a chamber concert entitled ‘BAK’ TO THE FUTURE, featuring a dynamic viola duo, the award-winning Jordan Bak and Rubina Bak, at the Litchfield Community Center.  The 2nd concert is the season finale, MasterWorks Concert, onSunday, May 19th, at 3 p.m., HEAVENLY JOURNEY, MOZART & MAHLER.  The final set of tickets is for Saturday, July 13th, at 5 p.m., and is for the beloved 30+ year annual WSO Picnic & Pops Concert at Hollow Park, Woodbury, entitled FROM SEA TO SHINING SEA.

 THE KIM BURNS SALON BASKET, valued at $250 offers a $100 Gift Certificate for a haircut, plus shampoo, conditioner, styling mousse and keratin heating oil. Kim worked as a professional stylist and colorist in New York City for more than 25 years.  Her creations have been featured in the New York Times, Martha Stewart Weddings, Vanity Fair and on television. She currently receives clients at her home salon in Woodbury.
