The March public meeting of the Woman’s Club of Woodbury will take place on Monday, March 4, at 12:30 pm at the Emergency Services Building, Orenaug Firehouse, 25 Quassak Road in Woodbury. Tracey O’Shaughnessy, Associate Features Editor, Waterbury Republican-American, will be our speaker. No charge for admission, but reservations are necessary. Tracey O'Shaughnessy has been at the Republican American since 1994. A native of Lexington, Mass., she's won many national and regional awards, including her most recent first place award for Arts & Entertainment Commentary from the Society of Features Journalism, an award she's won 11 times. She's also been fortunate enough to win some national awards for her weekly column, Sunday Reflections. A graduate of American University and, later Wesleyan University, she is married with a recent college-graduate son (available for hire!) and a dog. Among her hobbies are reading, bicycling, cinema and petting any dog within 100 feet of her. She's published two collections of her columns and is at work on a third, "Everybody's Got Something."
