Girls who Code

When:

Children in grades 3-5 are welcome to join a group of supportive peers and role models using computer science to change the world.  When you join a Club, you will learn new skills by completing fun and simple online coding tutorials, explore a variety of computer science disciplines, hear from female role models and build community through
interactive activities with the rest of your Club.

Patrice Gans the Executive Director of Random of Hacks of Kindness Junior will be leading the four week program at the Woodbury Public Library. 

*Patrons must bring their own device, which would include laptops, Chromebooks, and tablets.* 

Schedule:

Week 1: Learn binary code (the language of the computer) by making binary bracelets and sharing secret messages with your friends.

Week 2: Explore coding concepts with robotics using ozobots,  Make your mini robots dance and spin!
