Woodbury Scholarship Fund Dollars for Scholars

Woodbury Scholarship Fund Dollars for Scholars® primarily provides financial assistance to Woodbury students in order to help support and encourage the completion of their post-secondary education.   The organization also manages endowments and annual grants on behalf of individuals, businesses, and other organizations including memorials. As an affiliate chapter of Scholarship America’s Dollars for Scholars® program, they have access to scholarship information, resources and expertise yet are entirely managed locally.

Their major fundraiser is Go the Distance for Scholars scheduled for September 26, 2015.  This event includes 5, 10, 25, and 50 mile bike rides, a 5K road race, 5K, 1 mile and 1.7 mile walks and K-5th grade running events. Applications for scholarships are accepted beginning January 1st and ending April 1st annually. Submissions must be made online through the filing of a "Student Profile". Application instructions are available on our website.
