IT Technician-Coordinator
The Town of Woodbury is accepting applications for an IT Technician-Coordinator. This is a full-time, 35 hours per week non-union position with benefits. On‑call availability for emergencies, cybersecurity incidents, and critical system outages is required. This position falls under the direct supervision of the First Selectman.
The IT Technician-Coordinator is responsible for the planning, implementation, security, and ongoing support of the Town’s information technology systems. This position ensures reliable technology operations across all departments, manages cybersecurity protections, oversees software deployment and testing, and maintains compliance with licensing and municipal technology policies. The role also develops and maintains the Town’s long term technology roadmap to support efficient, secure, and modern municipal operations.
A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field; or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of two years of experience. Certifications preferred are Microsoft (MCSA, MS‑900, AZ‑900, MD‑102), Security+ or equivalent, Network+ or CCNA and CISSP or CISM (for higher‑level roles).
