Certified Police Officer: Part-time
The Town of Woodbury is accepting applications for the position of part-time certified Police Officer. Applicants must possess a current, valid CT POSTC certification as a Police Officer in the State of CT or be a recently retired CT State Police Officer with a current, valid POSTC certification. Applicants must also meet POSTC lateral certification requirements and pass an extensive hiring process including:
- Written Exam
- Oral Interview
- Background Investigation
- Polygraph Examination
- Psychological Evaluation
- Physical Exam
- Drug Testing
- Physical Assessment (May be given)
This is a non-union position. Hourly rate is $33.80. Patrol shifts will include weekends and holidays. Position is eligible to work private duty shifts. Position is eligible to work private duty shifts.
