Parks and Recreation Summer Camp Director

The Summer Camp Director is responsible for assisting in the planning and development of the Parks and Recreation summer camp program, as well as managing the daily operations of the summer camp, including overseeing activities, supervising staff, and ensuring the safety of all participants involved.

 

This is a seasonal, exempt, position with an hourly wage of $26.00.  Work schedule will include some work hours prior to camp dates for planning and conducting Staff Training Day, along with some work hours after the camp dates.  Dates and hours for the summer camp program are as follows:

 

Summer Camp Schedule:        

June 23– July 25, 2025

8:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday – Friday

 

High School Diploma or GED. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum two years of experience working with pre-school through middle school age children. Previous summer camp lead counselor or director experience preferred. First Aid and CPR certifications required. Please refer to the job description for a full list of qualifications.
