Become a Poll Worker
The Woodbury Registrars of Voters always welcome citizens (16 years of age and over) to work at the polls on an election day. Full-day and half-day shifts available. If you’re interested please contact the Woodbury Registrar’s office at 203-263-4750 or send an email to the Registrars (see below).
There are many positions to be filled at the polling sites. Among them:
- Moderator
- Absentee ballot counters
- Assistant registrars
- Checkers
- Ballot clerks
- Tabulator tender
- And other general help

All positions require workers to be electors of the state of Connecticut but only some positions require workers to be residents of Woodbury. 16 or 17 years old citizens who want to work at the polls must be residents of Woodbury.
