Fiscal Office

The Fiscal Office is primarily responsible for the accounting of all Town funds, maintaining financial records, and preparing financial reports. The Fiscal office also handles accounts payable and receivables, and investment of Town funds.

Other responsibilities include recording receipts, making deposits, overseeing the budget process, assisting with the year-end audit, long term financial planning, handling insurance-related manners, and the issuance of bonds.

The Department provides budget monitoring and financial reports to the Board of Selectmen and the Board of Finance throughout the fiscal year.
